Native Habitat Restoration for Diversification

Native Wildflowers

P6240111There is a diversity of habitats here on the farm, each with it’s own unique plants, animals, and environment. Many plants exist in more than one habitat type while others are very specific in their requirements. There are flowers blooming from as early as February(Ozark Witch Hazel) until late October(Asters). From Spring thru Fall there is a constant changing of colors to enjoy.

It’s always fun to grab your Missouri Wildflowers book by Edgar Denison and go out and identify new flowers or grab a camera and take some pictures!!!
